I am a Christian Stay at Home Mom. I am married to a wonderful man and we have four beautiful young children together. We also have two boxers and a bulldog. God has blessed me greatly with my family.
I USED TO have a strong desire to be one of the elite. A Supermom. You know, the women who can do all, be all, conquer all. The ones who are champion multi taskers, have spotless homes, well behaved children, can cook a 5 star meal in less than 5 minutes. The ones who are always put together and are sucessful and who's husband's adore them and who's kids don't ever want to cut the apron strings. Yeah. I wanted to be one of those. The Supermoms. Since starting this blog though, I have come to understand that not only is that stereotype slightly unrealistic, it's impractical and quite frankly, not something I desire anymore. I've grown a lot since starting this blog, I realized that I am who I am for a reason. I'm quirky and unorganized. I'd rather have an hour long random dance party in the kitchen with my children than finish washing the dishes right away. My kids know how to head bang but will probably never know how to plié. I'm never caught up on laundry, I often forget to put deodorant on and I'm slowly becoming a "healthy eating" junkie. I STILL can't decorate cupcakes to save my life and sometimes I cry when the kids just won't give me a second of peace to get my thoughts together. And all of that is ok. It doesn't make me any less of a Supermom.
This blog is a place where I will voice my opinions and share my stories. I will give advice and throw out tips and tricks I've learned along the way. It is not my intention to offend any one with what I have to say, however, I'm going to warn you that it may happen.
All that being said, I'll forever be a "Wannabe" but it doesn't bother me any more and I hope you enjoy reading about my adventures as a mom of four!
